It's sad that the last gen model looks better than the next gen one. It's just the dark skin tone which frustrates me. I was hoping they'd fix that in this years game. Definitely going to be downloading a CAW of Summer and using that.
The game was developed in a collaboration between Yuke's and Visual Concepts, and published by 2K Sports for Xbox 360, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4. A great roster but unfortunately legends like eddie guerrero and hulk hogan aren't there. I bought WWE 2K16 yesterday, but I can't launch it. I click "Play," Steam says "Running" for about 2 seconds, then nothing happens. The "Running" just disappears, it does a quick "Syncing" and it simply doesn't run. I've already verified files and this is a fresh installation.
Gameplay
WWE 2K16 is an impressive sports and simulation game. On February 17, 2016, a Microsoft Windows version was announced, it was released on March 10, 2016. The PC release includes all the previously released DLC for free. The commentary team has been expanded to three members, with John "Bradshaw" Layfield joining the returning Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler. Jim Ross returns to call matches alongside Lawler in the Steve Austin showcase. The game features new cloth physics and animations, creating more realistic attire. The variety of the crowd has been improved as well. Hair physics and sweat features have been improved. In the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, only Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler are present for commentary outside of Showcase mode.

Reversals have been changed to a set amount per match; to prevent players from spamming them. There are no longer loading screens between entrances; and players have the option of running in on an entrance and attacking their opponent. Pins and submissions have changed in an effort to make game play "more fair". WWE 2K16 features a licensed soundtrack that consists of twelve songs as well as users can use entrance theme song of superstar/Diva to be played in the menu. At least we have that back and a fleshed out roster. I'm hoping next year they expand and maybe allow both genders to use either hair. If they do another survey thing that'll definitely be one of the suggestions, along with lambasting them for the laziness of using the same theme and entrance for current and retro Stephanie.

Pretty sure that they showed the same model of Stephanie McMahon, the second was just an alt for the original one (probably her manager/myCareer attire), and Retro Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley wasn't shown. If you looked at the selection screen, McMahon-Helmsley wasn't an option. She must be locked in showcase, and wasn't unlocked in the version he played.
But, I have to say I'm pleased with the hair options because I had my doubts about there being much there at all. I'm thrilled that it looks like we have actual variety of options with hair, tops, and jackets. This Showcase is all about remembering the iconic matches of Stone Cold Steve Austin.We also get to see highlights from the match gameplay too. The HUD looks similar to last year’s game, although there are a few changes here and there. The presentation is still pretty slick and the graphics are also good too. I won't say I'm completely satisfied, but we aren't gutted like we were last year. Not only was the game horrible, but diva players had no reason to even bother with it without CAD.
